Brass Angle Ball Valve

1.  Check the parameters of Dunyun valve: Confirm that the valve connection port (1/2"), flow port (3/4") matches the pipeline specification, and the thread type (BSP/NPT) is consistent with the pipe fittings to avoid water leakage or installation jamming caused by mismatching.

2.  Pipeline cleaning: Thoroughly remove rust, welding slag, sand and other impurities in the pipeline to be installed to prevent particulate matter from entering the valve, scratching the ceramic cartridge and damaging the PTFE sealing parts, which may cause seal failure.

3.  Valve inspection: Manually open and close the Dunyun valve for several times to confirm that the valve stem rotates smoothly without jamming and the valve core is fully opened/closed (1/4 turn for ball valve, to the full open/full close scale). Check that the valve body and electroplated layer are free from collision damage, and the thread is free from slipping and deformation.

4.  Accessory preparation: Prepare suitable sealing gaskets/PTFE thread seal tape, avoid using inferior sealing parts. It is recommended to use special PTFE thread seal tape for plumbing (even winding thickness, no more than 3 layers).
